Returning Citizens

Transitions is our prison outreach program for juveniles and adults. It links offenders with mentors and other community resources. We are current volunteer mentors with the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services where we offer weekly inspirational guidance and support at their DC location.

Through our partnership agreement with the Court Supervision Offender Services Agency (CSOSA), we provide mentoring and supportive services for men returning to the DC area. A major hallmark of this outreach is the transitional housing to 12 men through a collaborative agreement with the Oxford House. Oxford House is a concept in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. In its simplest form, an Oxford House describes a democratically run, self-supporting and drug free home.
